A dreamy shrimp scampi pasta dish that is fancy-ish yet super simple and cozy. It includes shrimp, garlic, lemon juice, and parsley, all combined in a creamy sauce with spaghetti. Ideal for a delightful dinner with optional dairy-free butter.

What you need

lb shrimp
tsp chili flakes
lemon

cup parsley

cup dry white wine

tbsp butter

lb spaghetti
Instructions
1: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. 2: Finely dice garlic and parsley, and juice your lemon. 3: Pat dry shrimp WELL, especially if defrosting. 4: Cook spaghetti until al dente and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water. 5: Sauté minced garlic and chili flakes in oil and 2 tbsp butter, stirring often. 6: Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side, spreading them out as much as possible. 7: Add 1/2 cup dry white wine or broth and lemon juice; let simmer for a couple of minutes. 8: Add parsley and remaining 1 tbsp of butter. 9: Remove from heat and stir in spaghetti along with a little reserved pasta water until desired creamy consistency is reached. 10: Enjoy with extra chili flakes and parsley; garlic bread is optional but highly recommended.View original recipe
