Instructions
1: Chop 2 peeled apples and 1/4 cup pecans. 2: Sauté in 2 teaspoons of vegan butter with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon for 5 minutes until soft. 3: Add 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and cook for 1 more minute. 4: Spread the mixture on a greased 9x9 baking dish. 5: Combine 2.5 cups of rolled oats, 1.25 cups of almond milk, 1/2 cup of apple sauce, 1 egg, 1/4 cup of maple syrup, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and a sprinkle of sea salt in a bowl. 6: Spread this mixture evenly on top of the apples in the baking dish. 7: Sprinkle extra cinnamon and a few diced pecans on top. 8: Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.View original recipe
