Maple Bacon Scallops

1: Cook bacon for a few minutes until almost done but still pliable.

2: Pat dry scallops and season.

3: Wrap half a piece of bacon around the scallop and secure with a toothpick.

4: Add oil to a skillet and once hot add scallops spread apart.

5: Cook for 2 minutes per side on medium high heat.

6: Transfer to a serving platter and drizzle with maple syrup.

7: Optionally garnish with pomegranate seeds.

8: Serve with a tasty holiday spritz.
