cup warm water

Instructions
1: Combine warm water, egg, and olive oil in a large bowl. 2: Slowly add flour and salt until a dough forms. 3: Knead on a floured surface until smooth, divide into 2, cover, and let sit for 20 minutes. 4: Boil potatoes for about 25 minutes until soft, then drain and mash. 5: Stir in butter, shredded cheese, and black pepper into the mashed potatoes. 6: Roll out the dough until 1/8 inch thick and cut out circles. 7: Place a ball of filling in the center of each circle and pinch to seal tightly. 8: Dust with flour and cover as you continue to assemble. 9: Boil water in a large pot; drop perogies in batches of 8 and cook until they float. 10: Remove with a slotted spoon, rub with butter, and place in a greased dish. 11: Serve immediately with sautéed onions or pan-fried until crispy.View original recipe
