This homemade naan is a versatile side dish perfect for stews or curries. With just Under 5 ingredients, it’s simple to prepare and can also be used to make pizza dough or flatbreads. The recipe yields 8 mini naans or 4 regular-sized ones.
Add flour, yogurt, baking powder, and salt to a bowl.
Using a silicone spatula, mix until a dough starts to form, then use your hand.
Generously flour a surface and knead the dough for a few minutes until a ball forms.
Divide the dough into 8 or 4 depending on the size you're making.
Roll out each piece, adding more flour as needed.
Optionally add garlic and parsley here and roll again.
Heat a large skillet and wipe with oil; add naan.
When it starts to bubble, flip and cook for about 3 minutes per side.
Repeat until each naan is done.
Optionally top with ghee or butter and sprinkle with sea salt and parsley.
